MEET AISLYNN MEDE
Storyteller for Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours
Hey there! I’m Aislynn Mede, your storyteller at Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours. In 2016, I earned my theatre diploma from Vancouver Island University and then jetted off to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. I followed that up with a year working in London’s immersive theatre scene.
When I came back to Vancouver, I stumbled upon Forbidden Vancouver’s job post and it just clicked. I love their diverse tours, commitment to sharing untold stories, and their super supportive vibe. So, I jumped on board!
Since 2022, I’ve been spinning tales on the Dark Secrets of Stanley Park Tour and meeting awesome people from all over. In 2024, you’ll also find me leading the Hidden History & Sweet Treat Tour and our signature Forbidden Vancouver Tour. Can’t wait to see you on tour!
Aislynn’s Post Tour Recommendations
- Grab a warm (or cold, depending on the season) drink and go to Canada Place. It’s an interesting experience to be in Stanley Park, surrounded by nature, and then going to Canada Place to look out onto the North Shore and Stanley Park. It can feel like a different world, and you may even hear the 9 O’Clock gun go off!
