MEET RACHEL RUECKER
Storyteller for Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours
Hey, I’m Rachel! I’ve been a storyteller for Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours since 2022. I was born and raised right here in Vancouver and studied drama in the Big Apple at NYU Tisch, before coming back to Beautiful BC. I’m an actor, writer, comedian, and, as you know, tour guide!
The best part of this gig? When the energy’s right and the group leans in, hanging onto every word. That magic spark is why I love this work! Plus, who doesn’t love a hearty group laugh?
I lead the Lost Souls of Gastown Tour, the Hidden History & Sweet Treats Tour, and the Forbidden Vancouver Tour. When I’m not in tour guide mode, I can be found doing stand-up all over town or enjoying a quintessential Vancouver sunset.
