Meet The Team: Stuart Jansen

Hey, I’m Stuart! History lover, globetrotter, actor, foodie, and self-proclaimed karaoke king. I hopped aboard Forbidden Vancouver in 2022 to spin tales on the Lost Souls of Gastown Tour. Born in Dubai, raised in Mississauga, Ontario, and finally landing in Van in 2021, I’ve got quite a story myself.

I’ve trained in improv at Second City, musical theatre & stage acting at Living Arts Centre & West End Studio Theatre, and performed in “Blood Brothers” and “Spring Awakening”.

What do I love about working with Forbidden Vancouver? We really dig into history’s social issues and highlight overlooked individuals—Indigenous people, women, sex workers, diverse ethnic groups.
