Meet The Team: Morgan Nahanee

Hello! I’m Morgan. I’ve been a fan of Forbidden Vancouver since it’s inception. When I was recently offered and opportunity to help out on the operations team I jumped at the chance to pitch in.

My dad’s family is Metis from the Red River valley of Manitoba. I’m the mother to two lovely teens who are members of the Squamish Nation. My husbands family has deep roots tied to this place now called Vancouver. Both he and I grew up in North Vancouver and have continued to be blown away by how much we have learned from our Forbidden Vancouver Walking tour experiences! We both recommend ‘The Dark Secrets of Stanley Park’ to anyone who will listen.

I trained and worked as an optician in Kerrisdale for many years. I had to step away from my career for health reasons several years ago. I have really missed being a working professional and am very excited to have a small step back into the workforce.
