MEET ROWAN JANG
Storyteller for Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours
I’m Rowan Jang, a storyteller at Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours. I joined the team in 2017, starting with the Lost Souls of Gastown Tour, and now I’ve added the Forbidden Vancouver Tour and the Dark Secrets of Stanley Park Tour to my list!
As a professional actor, I’ve shifted my focus to film and TV production through my own company, MiTribe Media. We’re all about giving emerging artists a platform to create and share their work, from self-tapes to audio tracks, even full-scale shoots in our studio space.
My family history in Vancouver goes back to the 1800s, with an ancestor who was a vaudeville star here. I love hosting locals on my tours who have similarly deep roots in Vancouver.
